Anchor.fm empathizes with their audience in an unexpected way

For fans of talk radio and podcasts, who want to share their voice, be heard and make radio more of a two way conversation instead of having to rely on the telephone, email and social media to connect with on-air personalities, anchor.fm steps in to enable anyone with a smartphone to record and publish a micro-podcast.  You can not only record, but people can respond.  It’s a conversation waiting to happen in your pocket.

This app is built with the listener in mind.  Ears first, so all features all geared toward the user in this fashion.  The business model is unclear, but I suspect ad supported or “for a fee” for advanced features.
